Levels before we headed to the Lakes!

Thursday was off to a great start with us as individual teams reflecting on our previous activities to design a reference guide on what we as a team should value while working with each other. It was a good exercise to just think for ourselves what are the few things that we should practise to live by.
Post that we did another interesting exercise on observation and feedback. Witnessing another team perform a task to see what is going well and what is not, was also a personal learning experience. To think what would I have done had I been in the shoes of the performing team, was quite insightful. We also got to share feedback and receive feedback from the team that was observing us while we were having fun creating an ideal FTMBA caricature. Thursday didn't end there...there were a lot more levels...read on.... :)
Post lunch, we did another activity to identify key themes related to Collaborative Conduct. We had to come up with a smartphone prototype to showcase what we as a team thought were the key themes that we learned over the past few days, followed by a quick presentation of our proposal to another team. Every bit of it was a great experience, having fun, food for thought and teaming all the time.
I did take away two lessons to include in my journal. And by the way, my Indian English accent is accepted and understood in the UK! Wohoo! People do understand, so I don't have to repeat, it is just that I got to be a little slow while speaking. :)
Over the 2 -3 days, Roy from Apropro Consulting helped us with the tasks and activities and played an important role in helping each of us identify our strengths, weakness, improvement areas and more so helping us reflect on what were the key learnings from these collaborative exercises that we take away from the Lancaster MBA for life. Thanks Roy! Special thanks to Sue, Steve and Angus as well!
That's not all! We all got a huge task after this, that came to light on Thursday but extended until Friday night. Well, read about that exciting aspect in my next post. For now, feel free to be envious of the fact that we started off to the beautiful Lake District at 05:00PM on Thursday evening.
