#likeLondon but #loveLancaster

Monday was off to a successful start with our interim review and presentation going really well. Kudos to the KLR teaming! Four weeks down and the project continues on its path to a successful closure. On Wednesday we had the opportunity to connect with the rest of the cohort along with Peter and Grahame at the work foundation for our mid-review internal sessions. I was glad to be back in a class-room environment and to meet each other. That evening I also managed to visit ISKCON to donate some food in memory of my Dad. Calendars turn so quickly. Praveen also made it to BG that evening and we spent some good time over dinner with him. Friday was rather fun with Pankaj coming over to Bethnal Green. Taking cue from my cousin, we visited West Field at Stratford and ended up watching Dunkirk - quite a late show. Saturday was off to a lazy and dull start with incessant rains and clouds almost hovering over our terrace. However the mood soon changed given the excitement in acting hosts. The Clapham house was to come over for dinner. We had a great time, good food and lots of fun. Thanks Alex, Pat & Miyoko for coming over. Today was again supposed to be lazy, but I was amazed at the excitement my BG family had in playing Court Piece early in the morning! What dedication! Pankaj just left an hour ago back to Daventry and the routine continues. #loveLancaster #likeLondon

KR Master Class | Friday Outing | Clapham Connect

Starting from where I left last - the previous weekend was a brilliant and outstanding 2 days spent in Grasmere with Kevin Roberts. The eight of us had a very intense yet inspirational boost. Thanks to Peter, Kevin and my seven other classmates who made it really special and an unforgettable weekend.
Back home in London, welcomed to rain showers, lightning and thunder storms and has been the case throughout the week. While work at Saatchi continues at a fast pace, the last module assignment also saw a close last week. A milestone in itself! :) Taking a break from the busy schedule, Friday evening was well spent at Iskcon, dinner at Masala zone and pub hopping at Oxford circus. Illness did die out towards the end of the week. This weekend was spent at home working, catching up on missed project stuff. Sunday, of course made it to Clapham for Alex and Irene's birthday celebrations. A long ride but time well spent meeting classmates after 3-4 weeks now. The next week begins shortly and geared up for an action packed one. #loveLancaster

Will remember this moment for life!

Unveiling in different ways!

Week 2 was off to a speedy start. Getting things moving on the project front, getting adjusted to the fast-pace, 'multi-level' life in London and getting on toes with just almost anything. Time wafts past real quick. Besides that, I had a chance to meet Chitra earlier this week - what a pleasant surprise to connect here in London. Yesterday, I got to meet Manshuk and her mom as they tour around London. This morning, I got to connect with Jackie - it is always lovely to connect with my Kenya 8 team. A brilliant week so far connecting with close friends and with some showers to bring a respite from the roaring sun. This evening 8 of us are off to a Master Class in Grasmere. Looking forward to meeting the rest 7, whom I haven't seen in 2 weeks now. #loveLancaster

Index page of the London Diary!

Time began a week ago down south in London! A forward looking 8 weeks until we call it a course year. Off to a calm project start at Chancery Lane and a terrific happening start at Bethnal Green home. Exploring the project space at Saatchi with Lawni and Kenji is new and nice. Exploring the new home with my lovely ladies is fun! Of course shock in terms of the weather, crowd and travel has been huge, but with time things will settle is the hope. This week I also got to meet some of my cousins here in London over dinner - an incentive for staying in London. Pictures below also from my cousins' visit to Lancaster, packing and moving down to London and a last picture at the main launderette. Cheers to 1 week in London! #loveLancaster #londonliving

Lancaster Narratives: The last episode

Penning down my last post from Lancaster. Looking out of my window and trying to capture this view in my heart! Nine months through. Headed down South for the Corporate Challenge. The week saw us start off, sitting outside the grad bar preparing for the Mindful Manager Exam. Tuesday was the exam day! We all did a pretty good job. Post that was the final Director's session. Wednesday was left for packing and setting the stage for the projects beginning next week. Thursday and Friday we spent quality time at Ullswater, Lake District where we bid farewell to each other. The icing on the cake was when Peter called out my name for the Student of the Year Award! :) The whole group is not going to be meeting up anymore. Just like how after a happy picture everyone moves away, in the same way all of us from the MBA now are headed in different directions. Another lesson for life. Rich experiences don't last long either. How much I will miss Lancaster and how much I will miss my MBA family! Lancaster narratives ends, but London diaries will continue for a little more while. #loveLancaster
